Albums

I love music. Music that has a message, way more. I love albums that you can listen to from beginning to end and that inspire you or just simply make you think. For me personally, it's not often that I come across whole albums on which I like every single song (or at least almost all of the songs). When this happens, I feel like I've hit some type of jackpot. Don't get me wrong, I also like listening to songs that just have a good tune and that are fun to listen and sing to.
I'm actually liking these 3 albums at the moment, especially Macklemore's album. His lyrics are amazing and he's just being so real on all of the songs. Let me know if you guys have listened to or like any of these or let me know which albums/songs you are liking at the moment :-)

90s Inspiration

My favorite decade for fashion has to be the 90s. I may be biased because I grew up in the 90s but honestly, other decades do not appeal to me as much. I love everything about the 90s - the plaid shirts, Dr. Martens, florals...the list goes on and on. When I was growing up, I did not get my inspiration from looking at magazines or surfing the web (this was kind of hard back then), but from simply watching TV. I watched TV shows and movies for entertainment but also because I liked seeing all the clothes. The show that I mostly loved watching (and still watch) for fashion inspiration has to be Saved by the Bell. I loved watching it because of Kelly Kapowski! She was pretty awesome in my book and I always wanted to wear all of her clothes. Her style is quintessential of the 90s. These are some of the shows and movies that really stick out to me when I think of 90s fashion.

I love the summer but when it gets crazy hot like yesterday (high 90s), I really want it to be fall already haha. My boyfriend and I decided to embrace the heat and go eat some ice cream. It was also very crucial to wear something that was very light and easy. This shirt is sheer and the colors made me feel tropical, very appropriate for this heat.
As this heat wave continues for the rest of the weekend, I will just be lounging around the house and watching my favorite shows. One of them is the TV show "New Girl" which I recently discovered on Netflix. I'm really into comedies so this show is up my alley. Summer Boots

When the warmer temperatures start approaching, I usually cannot wait to wear sandals or flip flops. I am ready to put away the boots and socks for that matter, and bare my feet. However, for this summer, I am really keen on pairing skirts, shorts, or dresses with boots. The acceptable choices would be ones that are not knee-high, of course, but ankle boots or booties will be adequate to finish off an outfit for the summer.
