Current Beauty Faves

Hey guys, these products are the ones I have been using non stop recently and for good reason.

** I have been curling my lashes almost every day and it is something that makes such a huge difference. This eyelash curler by Shiseido is seriously the best eyelash curler ever! With one use, your lashes will curl and stay curled throughout the whole day. I prefer not to use mascara on a daily basis and with this eyelash curler I don't need to.

** This butter gloss by Nyx Cosmetics in Tiramisu is such a pretty color. It looks really natural with just a sheen over the lips. It is definitely my go-to color for every day.

** Ok, now for my absolute favorite product so far, this concealer or "un cover-up" by RMS Beauty is by far the best concealer/cover-up/foundation I have found for my skin. I have very sensitive skin that is oily and acne-prone so I have to be careful of what I put on my face. If I use the wrong product, I will immediately break out or get small red bumps (sucks, I know). However, I put this product almost everywhere on my face and nothing, not one break-out or crazy reaction. I set this with some translucent powder and I am good to go. I use this under my eyes for daily use and also use it as a foundation for when I want to look more put together. The best thing is that the ingredients are all natural and some are even organic. I cannot say enough great things about this product! I should have probably just done a post on this product only as I am rambling on about it :)

** Lastly, this hand cream by Soap & Glory is the best for winter. This hand cream prevents my hand from getting really dry and flaky. It leaves my hands soft and as if it was summer out :)

Bralette Obsession

Bralettes have become a necessity in my outfits as my love for slouchy and over exposing tees has grown rather quickly. I also have to say that these are crazy comfortable, obviously more so than regular bras. It really works in the summer on those lazy, relaxed days. The strappy and lace ones are my favorite, as if there is any other way to wear them ;)

My Current Summer Playlist

Hey guys! I wanted to share my current playlist with you, I guess you can call it my summer playlist. I am a huge music fanatic, it makes me super happy finding new songs, you have no idea. I am loving Magic! currently, their sound is just what I was missing in my life :) I missed hearing that "band" sound  where you can clearly hear all the instruments, and their reggae infused style just takes me on a vacation. Favorite Summer Fragrances

 DKNY Golden Delicious & Tocca Colette

I always love spraying my favorite fragrance every morning and something about it just makes me feel happy. Even on those mornings when I'm getting ready for work (especially Mondays), I find that a few sprays of perfume make me feel like I am ready for the day. I received a sample of the DKNY perfume from Sephora a while back and this stuff smells like a vacation in a bottle to me, this is why I always take it with me when I am going away on vacation. I took it to Punta Cana last year and it fit perfect in that Caribbean environment. Tocca fragrances will always be my favorite, I have tried quite a few of them and have fell in love with every single one of them. My favorite one is Stella, but in the summer I always reach for Colette, it has the perfect notes that make you feel sweet and sexy at the same time.

Lately

Hey guys, here are some snapshots from the things that have been inspiring me lately. As I mentioned before, I am a knitter. I just love knitting, it helps me to relax and I love shopping for yarn and seeing all the different colors and textures. I am almost done with this scarf and cannot wait to wear it, I really must finish it before the winter is over :) However, I don't think this winter is leaving anytime soon as it is really frigid cold here in the east coast. The above is just a portion of the snow that we have been getting these past weeks. The snow looks so pretty though, I can't deny that. Now, let's talk about these boots! I just got this pair of leopard booties which I loved as soon as I saw them, I cannot wait to style these. I also included my favorite pair of Jeffrey Campbell boots because as you guys know I am loving black boots :) I hope you enjoyed a glimpse into what I have been into lately. My Winter Essentials

Winter is in full speed and having these essentials is going to make this winter go by more smoothly. Having the usuals such as a scarf, beanie, and gloves is a must for winter. However, I think having some extras just makes everything better and makes having to bear the cold much easier. I love burning candles all the time but especially in the winter, it just makes my house feel really cozy. Since we are all bundled up, having accessories such as rings and a sparkly nail polish will definitely help in improving my mood. Wearing cute socks is also one of my favorite things to do. These fleece-lined tights are a staple in my wardrobe whenever I feel like wearing skirts or dresses, they work so well in keeping my legs warm. Another thing that I am loving this winter are black boots, I am pretty sure I have only been wearing black boots every day this winter. So here are some of my winter essentials, what are yours?

These are some of the designers that are currently influencing my wardrobe choices for fall. I am loving an oversized yet sleek silhouette like ones from Stella McCartney. Really chill and laid back looks such as the ones seen from Zadig & Voltaire. Have been trying to incorporate more feminine, elegant looks with pops of color trying to emulating Oscar de la Renta's collection. Would wear black and white everyday if possible in the hopes of looking as chic as designs from Narciso Rodriguez.

Beauty Wish List - Skincare

I have been pretty much using the same skincare products for the last 5 years or so. Last year, I discovered the Argan Oil from Josie Argan and I was amazed at how well it works. Since then, I have been trying to shift all of my skincare products to natural, good-for-you products. I just think that these will not only give good results in the present, but also will be beneficial for the future. Here are some of the products I would love to buy soon. I realize not all are natural brands (Kate Somerville and Kiehl's) but these products do not have any parabens. I use the Josie Maran oil at night as my moisturizer but now I am on the lookout for a morning moisturizer, preferably with SPF. I want to try the Argan oil light as my AM moisturizer, but if you have any other suggestions for natural moisturizers with SPF, I would love to hear them!

Espadrilles

I have been seeing a lot of espadrille flats all over, this whole summer and have yet to buy a pair. There are so many to choose from since the upper design possibilities are endless. Even though summer is coming to an end soon (sad face), there is still some time left and I plan to enjoy every minute of it! I don't really like to shop for fall too early as it just makes summer seem shorter. With that being said, I want to pick up a pair of espadrilles which are perfect for the summer. With the right print or color, I can imagine these also being great transition shoes for the fall. Albums

I love music. Music that has a message, way more. I love albums that you can listen to from beginning to end and that inspire you or just simply make you think. For me personally, it's not often that I come across whole albums on which I like every single song (or at least almost all of the songs). When this happens, I feel like I've hit some type of jackpot. Don't get me wrong, I also like listening to songs that just have a good tune and that are fun to listen and sing to.
I'm actually liking these 3 albums at the moment, especially Macklemore's album. His lyrics are amazing and he's just being so real on all of the songs. Let me know if you guys have listened to or like any of these or let me know which albums/songs you are liking at the moment :-)
