Thanksgiving

For me Thanksgiving is one of those holidays (like Valentine's day), that it's fun to celebrate but in reality one should be thankful every single day of the year. Don't get me wrong, it is a festive day to spend time with family and eat large amounts of good food, but I just always ponder about the little, great things in life. I am always grateful to be healthy and have amazing people that I love surrounding me. Whenever problems get me down, I always think about the good things in my life and realize things could be so much worse. I hope everyone is having a great day with their families and hope that you have something to be grateful about every single day. Happy Thanksgiving :)

Fall Accessories

Fall and winter are great seasons to accessorize and have several layers in an outfit. An outfit does not seem complete if you don't add a scarf, beanie, or even a dark lip color. Here are some of the accessories that are my must haves for this season. What is your most favorite accessory for fall?

So Romantic

So Romantic

Winter is soon approaching and what is getting me really excited are romantic, light-toned, and laced looks. I just bought a really crisp ivory blazer from Urban Outfitters and can totally see myself wearing it for the holidays. Lovely lace, light-colored tops and dresses are also my choices for winter looks. Here are some of the things catching my attention lately. What are some of the items getting you excited for winter?

1. Blazer with roll-up cuffs
2. Daisy Lace Dress
3. Lace crop top
4. Symphony clutch
5. Colorblock Trousers
6. Glitter strap ankle boot
7. Victorian Dress

Buzzcut Season

H&M shirt and purse | Target shorts | Urban Outfitters Tights | Forever21 boots and sunglasses

Hey everyone! I'm typing this post while listening to Lorde's album, Pure Heroine. I have to say I like every song on this album especially Buzzcut Season, I could listen to it over and over again. Anyway, I went over to H&M this weekend hoping to get some items from the Isabel Marant collection but, not surprisingly, everything was sold out. I'm going to try my luck online and see if I can score some items (cross my fingers). I hope you are having a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Spanish Home Style

This post is not like the usual posts you see on this blog, but I decided to change things up a bit as I am really inspired by Spanish style homes at the moment and wanted to share some inspiration pictures with you guys. I saw an episode of Million Dollar Listing LA where they were showing a Spanish style home and I became enamored instantly. I wish to have a home of my own like this one day (that is, if I don't change my mind about my decor tastes by then). I love that with this type of decor, you can build up the color and keep adding decorations and furniture; or it can just be kept simple and minimal but the accents (such as tiles and rustic wood fixtures) will still maintain the Spanish influence. These houses also look very bright and airy which is something I always appreciate. Summer is my favorite season so I can imagine that living in one of these homes would feel like you are in a summer vacation all year round.

Blazer and Leaves

H&M blazer and scarf | Brandy Melville Sweater | Urban Outfitters jeans | Steve Madden boots

I have had a love for blazers for about the past 2 years now. I love an item that can pull together a whole look and a blazer does just that. I can throw it over a white tee and jeans and instantly feel like my outfit is complete. Items like blazers and scarves are life savers when you don't know what to wear (much like every morning for me when getting ready to go to work). I love blazers from H&M, the fit is perfect and looks like it has been tailored just for you.

With Hat In Hand

Fall Hats

I tend to not over-accessorize my looks that often, much of that is a result of me just trying to get out of the door as quickly as possible. Nonetheless, I would like to step up my accessorizing game and figured these hats would be the perfect starting point. It helps that I am obsessing with these types of fedora or "Panama" hats at the moment. For fall options, I will be looking for textures like felt or wool which would be perfect to finish a cozy and minimal outfit. These are some of my current picks, let me know if you are obsessing over hats as much as I am! :)

1. Scout Panama Hat
2. Vera Fedora
3. Mink Felt Hat
4. Grosgrain Panama Hat
5. Soho Wide Brim Hat
6. Lola Felt Floppy Hat

Black and White Layers

H&M sweater | Forever21 dress | Jeffrey Campbell boots | Michael Kors purse

I am really enjoying the fact that I can still get away with wearing skirts or dresses like this one. Today I went to Joann's Fabrics to get some yarn to start knitting! One of hobbies is knitting and what a better time to start new projects than now that the weather is getting chillier. I get so inspired by seeing all the fall colors of the trees and bushes, they are so beautiful to me! I hope you enjoyed your weekend :)
