Blooming

Forever21 dress | Forever21 hat | Jeffrey Campbell boots | DIY bracelets

It felt like summer this weekend so naturally I decided to grab a light, floral dress for the occasion. Seeing the flowers finally blooming gives me so much excitement! This weekend we loaded up on fruits and veggies for our weekend vegan cleanse. It felt so good to drink fruit infused water in the morning followed by smoothies and fresh juices. We look forward to doing it again as the temperature rises. I hope your weekend was lovely, thanks for stopping by :)

Crop Top and Clear Skies

The place that we shot these pictures at is not really that reminiscent of the desert but it sure made me wish I lived by it. I love a beautiful scenery that ranges from clear skies to fields of flowers. Sometimes I wish I could live in a more rural place for the purpose of admiring these types of scenery (wouldn't hurt for taking outfit of the day pictures either). This past Sunday the new season of Game of Thrones started! We had a viewing party at my house filled with drinks, good food, and company. It was a great time and felt good to hang out and relax. How was your weekend?

Greys and Florals

Urban Outfitters sweater | H&M skirt | Forever21 shoes | Michael Kors bag

This past weekend consisted of my fiance and I going out to try new restaurants, lounging around the house, and doing a little shopping. I love these kinds of weekends where we don't really have things to do around the house (laundry, cleaning) and the weekends are just left to do whatever we want. I feel like I haven't worn a skirt in so long so I felt it was very appropriate to pull one out for this weekend as the weather is finally getting better. I hope you all had a lovely weekend, thanks for reading :) xo

Urban Outfitters hat | H&M blazer | Brandy Melville top | Urban Outfitters jeans | Jeffrey Campbell boots

Hey everyone! I love graphic tees as they are just so versatile and easy to throw on, especially ones with a really cool print like this one. I am really into astronomy and space stuff :) so this shirt really caught my attention. I cannot wait for spring! this weekend we got a little taste of it and it was so nice to get out of the house and actually walk around outside :)

Almost Sunset

  H&M Sweater | H&M pants | DV by Dolce Vita boots | F21 sunglasses

I just love an all black outfit with a pop of color, it makes everything seem so effortless. I feel like lately I have been keeping things more simple and sticking to basic pieces. Is leopard considered a basic now? It is in my book :) I hope you all had a lovely weekend!

Basic pieces are my favorite at the moment and Brandy Melville pretty much always hits it on the mark with basic, effortless clothing. The great thing is that I can wear these pieces with so many other things from my closet and do not have to worry about if I can't match it with anything else (as some of my usual printed, brighter pieces). A little bit about my day yesterday, the boyfriend and I went to finally watch Catching Fire (I know, I know, super late). We just watched the first one so naturally, we had to go watch the sequel as it was still in theaters, and it was incredible. Really thinking about starting to read the books, have any of you guys read the books or like the movies? Anyway, I hope you all had a great weekend :)
