Even though I love me some bright colors and prints, there is something about black that is so chic and easy to throw on. Incorporating some white into the outfit was a must as I just had to get on board with the whole black and white trend. Hope you had a great weekend! :-)

Southwest Desert

I have always been attracted to really bright and colorful prints and have actually been documenting my love for these on this blog. These prints just always catch my attention much more than a solid-colored item. I would wear printed garments every day if I could but I don't just for the sake of changing things up. I have been loving prints that are reminiscent to the southwest - tribal and aztec. These prints are really fun to wear in tees, shorts, or even shoes. Hey guys! I sort of took a break from the blog in the past week as I just wasn't feeling that inspired to write. Or maybe it was the extremely long heat wave that we had this past week here in the east coast that just had me feeling lazy. However, I am now back motivated and inspired to write posts again.
I am still loving the color mint for the summer and have different variations of bottoms (shorts, skirts, jeans) of this color like the one here. It is just really simple to pair with light colored tops or in this case, a complementary floral top.

Albums

I love music. Music that has a message, way more. I love albums that you can listen to from beginning to end and that inspire you or just simply make you think. For me personally, it's not often that I come across whole albums on which I like every single song (or at least almost all of the songs). When this happens, I feel like I've hit some type of jackpot. Don't get me wrong, I also like listening to songs that just have a good tune and that are fun to listen and sing to.
I'm actually liking these 3 albums at the moment, especially Macklemore's album. His lyrics are amazing and he's just being so real on all of the songs. Let me know if you guys have listened to or like any of these or let me know which albums/songs you are liking at the moment :-)
