Blog Name Change

Hi everyone! I mentioned briefly in my last Lately post that I was thinking of a name change for the blog. Well, I finally did it. Welcome to Floral Constellation! :) I finally came up with a name that I really like and that I know I would like for years to come. When I first started my blog, I could not make up my mind about a name for my blog so I just used my name, but I was never really content with it and was always thinking of different names. Throughout the time that I have been blogging, I realized that having a name that you are happy with and that identifies you and your style is really important. I am a lover of bright prints, especially florals and I have always had a fascination with astronomy and anything to do with space. I am always inspired when I see photos of space, especially by the brightness and colors of the stars and planets so I knew I had to incorporate these two elements into my blog name. I would appreciate it if you guys would follow my newly renamed blog on Bloglovin :) I would like to thank all of you who stop by and continue to read my blog, I really appreciate it so much! :) xoxo

Bohemian Vibes

I have always loved Bohemian style, but what better time to talk about it with music festivals right around the corner. I love everything about this style - the jewelry, laid-back feel, and just the easy, effortless look that it has. I won't be attending any musical festivals this year, I wish :( but regardless I am still admiring this style for whatever the day brings. I think in my next life I would like to be a full blown hippie haha, I think it would suit me well :). Also, I sometimes think that to pull off this look you have to be very tall, do you guys think so? Nevertheless, I don't care (I am 5'3") and I still plan on wearing flowy, oversized dresses and embodying this trend.

Sunday Crafts

This past weekend I went to Joann Fabric store to get some craft supplies since they were having a family and friends sale, if you follow me on Instagram, then you saw the goodies I bought. I went in for the purpose of getting some yarn to start knitting items for fall. I also want to start making more crafts and doing more DIY projects. I started by making this bracelet which I really like! I have been really into turquoise jewelry lately so this is a great start to a collection. I also have been meaning to finish these shorts for the longest, (I think since last summer) but just never got around to it. I decided it was time to finish them so I can wear them this summer. I have to say DIY projects are addicting, I can't wait to try out more! I plan on making crafts at least once a month. What about you guys, do you like making crafts?

Spring Dresses

Happy first day of Spring! I am super excited spring is finally here and we get to wear dresses again (yay). I have been browsing a lot for dresses lately because I have decided life is too short to not wear dresses all the time haha. Floral dresses and light colored, flowy dresses are definitely my favorites for spring. I am especially loving the boho trend for this spring/summer. Florals will just always be a favorite of mine so I will for sure be buying a lot more floral everything. Let me know what are your favorite types of dresses for spring :)

This past weekend consisted of my fiance and I going out to try new restaurants, lounging around the house, and doing a little shopping. I love these kinds of weekends where we don't really have things to do around the house (laundry, cleaning) and the weekends are just left to do whatever we want. I feel like I haven't worn a skirt in so long so I felt it was very appropriate to pull one out for this weekend as the weather is finally getting better. I am really into astronomy and space stuff :) so this shirt really caught my attention. It has been wayyy too long!
Hey guys! I have been absent from my blog for almost 3 weeks and I have to say I have missed blogging and interacting with you guys! I hate saying excuses BUT I guess you can blame me being sick for about a week and the ridiculous winter we have been having. If you live somewhere in the US where you have winters, you know what I am talking about and you might feel my pain (and anger) due to the weather. It was kind of hard taking outfit of the day pictures when it was below 20 degrees and snowing all the time, and to be honest I just was not inspired to write about anything else. Enough about that, I am back and have been gathering ideas for posts other than outfits. I have to say though, outfit posts are my favorite but variation is always good. I figure I get to share with you guys all of the other things that interest me like these photos of some of the things I have been up to lately. ALSO, I have been thinking about a name change for the blog. I finally came up with a name that I really love and know I will like for a really long time (since I am very indecisive), look out for that soon.
